I just listed an extremely scarce style of Phillies Turn Back the Clock outfit on ebay.
Offered is a Philadelphia Phillies Ruben Amaro Jr.’s complete game worn 1948 style outfit from the 1992 season. On June 21, 1992 the Philadelphia Phillies hosted the Chicago Cubs, and wore special “Turn Back the Clock” outfits. The Phillies wore exact copies of their 1948 home outfits, the Cubs their 1948 road outfits. Included is the shirt, pants, hat, stirrups and spikes. A receipt from the actual auction is also included.
It will make a nice addition to a Phillies or TBTC collection.
