Re: My great experience with steiner sports
BTW the bat is Wright's actual own model not the CB15 but the DW5. -
Re: My great experience with steiner sports
For some reason i really love the look of the marucci bats. My favorite bat i think i have ever seen is the david wright maroon HR bat followed by the photomatched beltran bat. They are some sweet pieces and i would love to ad one to my collection some day. Im looking forward to seeing the bat.Comment

Re: My great experience with steiner sports
It was only $500. Heres brett's (the steiner guy) email, bfriedman@steinersports.com. i believe he is away til 9/4 but will still be checking emails. i know that he has one other broken wright GU bat for $500. it doesnt have as much pine tar but the use is solid and its a model CB15. The brake starts on the lower handle and goes through the knob. i still have the pics he sent me. i can email you if you are interested.Comment

Re: My great experience with steiner sports
Wasn't David Wright a Locker Room Memorabilia exclusive? Did they have a falling out? Or did Steiner strike a deal with Wright and LRM because they now sell all the Mets items?
Kind Regards,
Ron.

Not 100% percent sure, but i think i had to do with the new mets-steiner agreement.Comment

Re: My great experience with steiner sports
There are many players that have David Wright type of arrangements with companies like LR Memorabilia and some of their bats still will show up in the team store/Steiner/Charity Auctions. Generally the bats that you see are cracked and broken bats collected by the team which isn't retrieved by the player. The other big difference you will notice with the David Wright bats that Steiner has is the bats aren't autographed.

I just purchased from LR an early season 2007 David Wright Rawlings blue ring which is autographed so I should have that soon.
Hope that helps. AndrewComment

Re: My great experience with steiner sports
looks like a solid match to me. Thats amazing how quickly these things get found. I have a soriano bat pounded with use and cant find a match to save my life. Nice going on the match.Comment

Re: My great experience with steiner sports
Thanks,i would say its a match, the 5 on the barrel end appears to be the same as on mine and the ball marks and tar are the same too. do you know if wright got any hits or did anything good when using this bat?Comment
