Where are the pinstripe photmatch experts?

Can you prove or disprove that this jersey matches this photo?

Couldn't you have made the pictures a little bigger?

Looks nice though. I believe Pasqua hit 56 home runs one season in the minors.

            Thanks.

I found that pic in a box here. I have a dozen autographed pics of him and that one looks like a dead oin match to me.

Yankwood - do you know of the Yankees wear their home pinstripes in spring training games?

Only for the first spring training game, then they wear blue.

Re: Where are the pinstripe photmatch experts?

So they wear the pinstripes in the first game and then never again in spring training?

                  Thats interesting........

Here's my dilemma. The Pasqua jersey I have is from 1985 and is set 1. Pasqua came up in May of 1985 at home, which means that this jersey originally didnt have the armband for Pete Sheehy. Sheehy died in August of 1985. According to Baseball Reference, Pasqua never wore another number other than 21 so I know that this is his first jersey.

Now, the pic I have shown appears to be from Spring Training as it certainly isnt Yankee Stadium and the Yankees wouldnt be playing a regular season day game in another stadium wearing the home uniform.. Roger Maris died in December of 1985 so the Yankees also wore the armband in 1986 for him. My guess is that the picture is from Spring Training of 1986, but the pinstripes match up perfectly with my 1985 Jersey.

I guess they recycled Pasqua's 1985 jersey and he reused it in Spring Training of 1986. Pasqua only played in 60 games in 1985 so maybe his home jersey was in decent enough shape to survive another season?.......your thoughts?
