Another, 1980's gamer..this one a Columbus Clippers gamer from 1988. Were they they Yankees farm club then. Baseball cube.com lists a roster, but not by uniform #. Anyhelp would be appreciated. Thanks!

Your best bet may indeed be to search eBay for a game program from that year & either buy it or at least ask the seller if they'll tell you who wore the number you seek. Good Luck!

...According to the '88 Clippers Police-issued card set,#14 was infielder Pete Dalena-jersey # is in top right corner...Hope this helps!

Just going on memory, I believe Dalena wore #19. The 14 may be the card number in the set. Back then players came and went daily, so I may be wrong. The original poster can call the Clippers, and ask for Krista Oberlander, she handles the sales of their game used equipment, if anyone can help, it will be her.
