Historic Auctions - Steve Garvey jersey 2

Historic Auctions currently has a Steve Garvey "game used" Dodgers jersey. Garvey played for the Dodgers from 1969-82. The Rawlings tag on the jersey dates from 1973-84. The jersey has no patches on it so it cannot be from 1976, 1980, 1981. Therefore, it's assumed to be a pre-1980 jersey. I was under the impression that throughout the 70s until 1986 (long after Garvey had left the Dodgers) that the Dodgers' jerseys were supplied by Goodman & Sons, not Rawlings. Does anyone have any information to the opposite? As well, can anyone validate whether the arch on the nob on Historic's jersey is correct? That is, the arches I've seen were far less extreme than seen on Historic's jersey.
