Does anyone have an opinion regarding the Campanella hat in the Leland auction?
I remember that there was some discussions in the past regarding gu hats, they appear to be difficult to confirm to a particular player, inasmuch, they may have only a player's number to determine it's authenticity.
I have had mixed results from Leland. I bought a pair of gu Michael Jordan shoes from them, which was disputed by other auctions houses as was a Gretzky gu hockey stick. They, however, were very nice about it and took them back.
Also, the price. I remember a Ted Williams gu Boston Red Sox hat went for only $2,000 in Mastronet, so I'm not sure if a Campy hat should go much further than that. Thanks
