I understand that there was a new footaball for each play yesterday. Who will be selling those? I wonder while doing that, they went to the trouble to document what quarter and possibly what play the ball came from. Also,Montana was a no show show for the SB/MVP pregame because he wanted $100.000 instead of the $1,000+expenses+extra tickets.

During the Super Bowl XL broadcast, I thought I heard that 104 footballs were issued for use for the game. I also heard that after each snap, the ball was changed. Seems to me that if the ball was going to be changed after each snap, more than 104 footballs would have to be used. I'am personally going to keep an eye on the NFL website.

I don't collect football that much but I'll bid on the football that Rothlisberger ran for a touchdown(but on Letterman last night admitted that he didn't think was a touchdown.).

My understanding was they used a new ball on every snap in the first half, then recycled them for the second.
