I've always thought Sand Knit year tags were affixed at the beginning of the season. So...a "87" year tag would represent the 1987-88 season. Dr. J's last season was 1986-87. Also, Sand Knit used embroidered uniform numbers on swatches for player ID. In my opinion, my personal belief is a uniform number written in marker (especially of a star player) is suspect. I am sure this is just an oversight of Grey Flannel's, and this will be corrected. I think this warm-up was available at another auction house and was questioned by this forum.

There is a GFC item I wouldn't mind bidding on, but I never did hear a response back after they stated I'm on their bad bidder list. Ah well...

Yes. That's the one. Leland's is not the official authenticators for the Basketball Hall Of Fame in Springfield, Mass...so, they have an excuse.
