Riddell Helmet Date Code

I have searched all morning on the database and clearly I am not smart enough to find the original thread about Riddell Date Codes
I have a M155 Model with this code stamped in the right jaw pad area.
The code is 92098763
Any help translating this info would be appreciated.

you can find the date your helmet was manufactured by looking for it under the crown (donut) padding - you will probably need a magnifying glass and will need to carefully move the padding out of the way as follows:


it is located under the round, crown padding towards the front of the helmet (area circled in red)...

here's another look at the area with the padding removed - you can easily remove the forehead padding (wildcat bumper) but don't try to remove the donut padding, just bend it out of the way!

here's a closeup of what the date stamp looks like - it's a circle divided in two halves. the year will be stamped on one half and the month on the other...

imo it's most likely a reconditioner's code, paint code or inventory code. did you have a chance to look for the manufacturer's date stamp? if so, what is it? also, is your helmet shell painted?
