I know there are alot of advanced Joe Canseco collectors on here. Looking for some help. What is the value of a 85-86 era LVS bat (foil stamped block letter name) basicly from the rack worth? Any help is always greatly appreciated.

Re: Canseco help needed
I would have to say Nnunnari is very close on this one. Usually a game bat wil go for around $100, but being a rookie are LS would definitely double that. Could you post a photo. I have a Rookie era used LS and I'm curious to see another.
Thanks, ToddTodd Ricks

Re: Canseco help needed
Hi Bill--
I believe that we have posted this previously at some point, but for your information, here are Canseco's documented records on C243 model Louisville Sluggers:
9/12/85 35 in / 35 ox no finish 4 bats Oakland A's BBC
9/12/85 35 in / 33 oz no finish 4 bats Oakland A's BBC
11/22/85 35 in / 33 oz finish not specified 6 bats to BB Miscell
12/2/85 35 in / 33 oz no finish 12 bats Licey Baseball
Throughout 1986 all of canseco's orders for C243 bats were 35 inches and either 33 or 35 ounces with no finish. Additional orders that year with similar specs went to BB Miscell (no weight specified) and BB Promotions. Variations were made in 1987, when a shipment of Flame treated Finish C243 bats were shipped to Canseco (35 in / 35 oz.)
Canseco's earliest H & B orders were S2C (1982), R161 (1982, 1983 & 1984), and P89 (1985).

Re: Canseco help needed
I used to own an LS block letter foil stamped Jose Canseco bat with just "Canseco" on the barrell. Did LS stamp Jose's first and last name because they also provided bats for his brother Ozzie?Wanted: Minnesota Twins throwback or special event jerseys.Comment

Great info as usual. I really appreciate you taking the time to post it. I was wondering if his shipping records were available. Thanks for your time.Comment
