I read somewhere (maybe here) that Jorge had Louisville Slugger modify the handle of the P320 so they added the M for him. He thought it was cool that he has his own model bat. And yes, he did this just this year.

As being a Posada fan which Mike Specht had included a link from a Past Posada topic. I know Posada is superstitous to a degree and someone mentioned why he chose to have 320 on his bat.
I am not saying this is a fact it is just my logical guess.
He is a very Big Family man so:
(3) might represent his wife and 2 kids
(20) I would think is more obvious his uniform number.
I am just taking an educated guess on this which im probably wrong.
We allow very few players to choose their own model numbers. Posada is a very loyal player to us so we didn't have a problem with it. When I first created the model it had the number P146. He didn't like the number so he chose a new one. So there should be 6 bats out there with that model number on them somewhere. Anyway, I had thought our rep said he chose his batting average for the number, but I might be confusing it with Martinez like said in the other thread.
Well if you think about it he did inlude himself and his family the "3" for his family and the "20" representing himself. H ewould especially not want it to be 420 being a red sox model.
But your right ill stalk jorge at his house in puerto rico and ask him lol lol
