Question 1-
When do you consider a players jersey eligible for rookie year status? Is it the MLBA rookie of the year qualifiers?
The MLBA spec stats:
To qualify for the award a player must exceed neither of the following, before the season under consideration:
130 at bats or 50 innings pitched in the major leagues
45 days on the active roster of a major league club (excluding time on the disabled list or any time after rosters are expanded on September 1)Second question-
If they don't qualify for the rookie of the year, then does that mean the jersey is a debut jersey?
Third question-
Which is worth more a debut jersey or a rookie jersey and why?
Cheers,
Ty
