1986-89 LS T142 Terry Pendleton..Bat is HUGE 35 and 1/2" and 33 oz.
2001 Rick Ankiel Signed...33 inches, signed. Hey Joe - look familiar?

Notice the contrast in size between the two bats. The Pendleton bat is the largest in my collection, up there with Dimitri Young.

I was fortunate to win this Red Sox vs Yankees line up card recently on Steiner Auctions for $130 plus shipping. The day the auction was closing I almost forgot to bid and I placed a bid in the last hour.

On August 28th Manny Ramirez hit his 20th HR which was his last HR of the regular season and the game in which he pulled his oblique muscle and was out of action for a while.

Steiner usually notes Home Runs or other achievements when auctioning line up cards, but I guess they overlooked this one. The red handle Sam bat which I photo matched earlier this year was used to hit Mannys 20th HR or 490th career HR from that game.

I just got a pair of Sammy Sosa game worn 2003 batting gloves from his 507th and 508th homeruns. He went 3 for 3 that day, with the 2 homeruns, a double, and a walk.

Just got this in a Kevin Youkilis game used Red Sox helmet. I have photo matched the helmet to the 2007 World Series, ALCS and ALDS series. Youkilis had a terrific post season batting .388 with 4 HR's. I'll post pics of the photo matches later.

Great Red Sox helmets and matches on both the Youk and Lugo! Did these come from Steiner? Have the Red Sox World Series DVD's came out yet. I think they even sometimes sell box sets with all the Playoff games from them in them. You guys will have a field day video matching them, I wonder if they will even come out with HD versions on DVD.

It's not game used but I am very proud of my latest pick-up and I just had to show it off. It's an original oversized 1948 photograph of the famous image of Ted Williams & Babe Ruth together and has the photographers stamp on the front. There are many copies of this photograph out there in the hobby but this is the original.

Picked up a group of about 50 pairs of batting gloves from 2007. Pictured are 30 or so pairs plus a few singles. Pairs from Rolen, Howard, Ortiz, Tejada, Chipper Jones, Berkman, Delmon Young, Jack Wilson, Eric Chavez, Marcus Giles, Durazo, Carlos Lee,and others. Nice grouping!

I just picked up this awesome Uncracked Game Used Delwyn Young bat from the 2007 season. Looks legit to me!

There is no worry of Delwyn appearing on the Mitchell report. The players on the LVS 51's were vigorously tested for steroids, etc. Not to mention If Delwyn takes steroids, he'll just get wider which won't help him cause he is so short! In fact he has said that! He did say that if steroids would make him taller he may consider it....

This seems more like a baseball thread but thought I would post this 1982 Notre Dame "Madonna Blue" jersey from the "Oust Faust" era. Huge repair on the front, couple of other small repairs, great fishnet mesh, super-heavy screen printed graphics (only way to screen print over mesh holes like this).

Now that is a nice, rare, genuine game worn ND jersey - and you beat me to that jersey as well. I emailed the seller that night, only to find out someone else had emailed them an offer (an impressive offer, too) that far exceeded mine - now I know who it was. Great get on that one - that is only the fourth Faust era jersey I've seen on ebay in the past 8 years that was the real deal (seen plenty of fakes or "I think it's an ND jersey" listings that weren't).

If you ever decide to sell, you know where to find me. Congrats again.

Hello Beavisrules! Yeah, I went deep on that one. Figured it was worth it. Always loved those jerseys for some reason, my grandfather was an ND alum (you would love the old photos my family has of him on the ND sideline with Knute Rockne!). I remember watching games with him during the Faust era, he loved Allen Pinkett. Flipping is not out of the question so I'll post here if I ever move it. Thanks!

1998 Gwynn HR Gloves. Despite the "bleeding" on the vinyl, the date/hit etc. is very readable. 9/26/1998 hit#2926 vs. Az. I have several (Gwynn)hit#`d pairs, this is definitely my favorite pair. The Right Thumb/palm is taped to the wrist, first time i`ve seen it.

Was just looking through some post and seen my old Ankiel. That guy that sold it to you is crazy! He buys it from me for 175 then sells it "Buy It Now" a week later for 100. I seen it and almost bought it back but you beat me to the punch! lol. I thought the idea was to make a profit? Nice pick up!

Picked up a few items this week. A Todd Cranne autographed Reading Phillies uniform (shirt & pants) with the Jackie Robinson patch intact. Jose Lind Santurce jersey from a fellow fourm member, 1964-69 era Tony Larussa GU bat pounded with use, Lance Parrish signed GU bat from 1988 and an Ozzie Guillen Gamer from 1983-86 era with Guillen in block letters on the barrel. Hammered with use and remains uncracked. Can't wait for January ! Happy New Year Everyone :)

I picked this up at a show on Dec. 29th. I know it doesn't seem like much, but for a guy who collects what I collect, it's pretty cool. 1981 Jim Gantner with a lot of great marks and #17 written on knob and barrell end.
