Chris Chambliss returns to Richmond!

Just read that Chambliss will be the hitting coach for the R Braves this year. As a Yankee fan in the 70's, this is awesome news. I'm digging out my old cards now!

That's good. My dad and i meet him last year at a local signing. He wore his 78 world series ring. He was my dad's favorite yankee player and i finally found something that i can afford of his from his yankee days. Just got to wait and hope for 5 more days.

Sorry for bringing this thread back from the dead but i did not want to start another thread about Chambliss. But Jim or anyone i was wondering if you know if Chambliss is still coaching one of the Braves minor league teams or not. Becuase he does on show up on the their AAA roster for coaches. If he is not with the Braves anymore, is he with any other team. Thanks

Chambliss is currently the manager for Charlotte (NC).....White Sox AAA affiliate
