    Don't Obsess over Mitchell Report

So you think your collection is worthless because your favorite player is in the Mitchell report? Relax! That's my advice.

I'm a Tejada collector and I'm not the least bit worried that my uniforms, bats, cleats and signed baseballs have taken a value-hit. Same for my Sosa jersey and Clemens-signed bat. That's because I collect based on personality rather than performance. And I don't spend a lot of time thinking about the perceived market value of my stuff.

I have yet to meet the collector who is financially better off for "investment collecting" anyway.

In short, I love my collection, steroid stained or not. But then, I'd also be tempted by swampland in Brazil.

I tend to agree with you.

I have a pair of Tejada's game used batting gloves from his rookie season. I'd like to think that they would still retain the value and not lose anything due to this report.

    Time will tell
