    World Series Black Bat records?

I know that LS has records of bats ordered by players, but do they have records of World Series black bats?

The reason I ask is because I would like to know how many 1958 Milwaukee Braves black bats were made. I've heard they are rare, but what is rare? Any help would be appreciated.

I'm sure we did at one time but I doubt they were kept longer than 7yrs required by law.

They are believed to have been made in quanities of 200-300 each year. Hope that helps.

Thank you gentlemen. I wasn't sure if there were any records, or if any sort of numbers were out there. What information you guys have shared did answer my questions, thank you.

After asking the numbers were 200-300 most the times. When Florida won it was 500...of course that is when we had "Floridia" on the bats

Thanks for taking the time to confirm the number. That is fairly rare, or not exactly common, depending on how you look at it.

I picked up the '58 Braves one a few months back because a friend of mine is one of the players listed and he has one also. Now I can share this information with him.

Thanks again for taking the time to respond.
