That bat must have been listed 2-3 times in just the past few months.
"We need rebirth of the American tradition of leadership ... in private life as well." "'Trust me' government asks that we concentrate our hopes and dreams on one man; that we trust him to do what's best for us. My view of government places trust not in one person or one party, but in those values that transcend persons and parties. The trust is where it belongs--in the people." - Ronald Reagan"

I think he liked the celebrity of owning the bat, and realized that the "quick flip" ie: Honus Wagner T206, is not going to work with this bat. It is a great item, but something for a private collection, NOT a publicity piece.

I swa that at one point he was willing to LOSE money to get rid of it.

That's a lot of Ryan Howard signed bats.

That is a breathtaking item. Wish I could afford it!

Joe Jackson items definitely command a premium. We recently sold a pair of boots worn by Sholess Joe Jackson and the buyer was overjoyed.

How ironic is it that "Shoeless" Joe Jackson actually wore boots?

When you're wearing boots, you're shoeless-- unless they're galoshes.

Thank goodness Joe wore boots. "Bootless" Joe doesn't sound as good as Shoeless Joe. Galoshless Joe would have been a disaster too!
