Late 70s, early 80s Spanjian tags. I don't think it is from the Olympic games, will do more research.

looks to me to be from the 1983 World University Games in Edmonton, Canada. you can find the roster of that team along with those of subsequent years here http://www.usabasketball.com/history/mwug_1981.html

Thanks for keeping this thread alive...but the photo you posted is not the same. The '83 World University shirts are made by Descente (note logo on shoulder), they have heat-pressed letters and numbers. The letters are much larger than the jersey originally posted. From the usabasketball site, I think this jersey is from one of the teams wearing warm-ups in the team photo...World Championship...1978 or 1980. Again, thanks for the guess, maybe someone can prove me wrong...This forum works, when we all guess, and more threads are responded to...
