Bricol's current auction features a "1991 game used [football] helmet." No logos or team markings, just a yellow shell and a green facemask. I'd love to read Lou's LOA on this mind-blowing, pee wee league beauty. I'd also enjoy seeing which photo exemplar he chose from his 8,000+ collection to verify its authenticity. 1990 Conshohocken Bears team photo maybe? I doubt sweet Lou's going out of business anytime soon, but I think I'd miss him if he did.

Good 'ole Lou Lampson saved the day for this Bartlett Orioles jersey as well (also in same auction). One must wonder where the hobby would be in Lou's absence???

Re: Lampson saves the day
Just found this game used helmet on Ebay....I am going to buy it and send it to LOU LAMPSON....perhaps he can photomatch it for me and it may have been possibly used by Pete Rose or Joe Montana.....I will let him decide which one.....unreal......I can't believe no one can put this fraud outta business and behind bars.Comment

Yep, it's a used, royal blue Nike wrist band with a 21 written on it. Must be Sammy Sosa!
(And I second Ironman's pursuit. I'm now agressively buying all nondescript pieces of equipment that look like they might have been used in some type of athletic event. Any league, any age level, any country...I'm buying!)
