I have a hand turned lathe bat that looks like it's from the 1920/30s. It's 33 inches and 32 ounces. The only markings inscribed on the barrel is NO. II and the letters A.B.C. or possibly A.B.E. in an oval of 18 inscribed stars or dots. This bat is very solid. It may be oak or some other very hard wood. It has beautiful patina, lathe markings on both ends and a great knob. I've attached several pictures. Does anyone know what the initials stand for? I was thinking that it may be from the Negro Leagues. The initials may refer to the Atlanta Black Crackers. The bat was purchased in Columbus, Ohio. I would appreciate and information, thoughts or guesses anyone may have. Thanks. Ron
