I have a couple pair of NFL football cleats and both have the player's number written on the back of them. In trying to do photo matching for them I have noticed that in game pics it appears that these players don't have numbers written on their cleats.
Does anyone know if it's standard practice for teams and/or players to only put player numbers on cleats used in practice?? Any insight would be appreciated.
