Puckett cap size

Does anyone happen to know what size cap Puckett wore?

Have you tried emailing the HOF? I have had success verifying different jersey sizes and cap sizes by emailing the HOF and asking them if they have a game used item (jersey, hat, helmet) of the player and asking what size it is.

I've had a couple of different Puckett caps... One right off of his head in 85 - New Era 7 1/8. A few years later I had one with the new style M and it was a 7 3/8. Both were directly from him. As much weight as he gained over the years, I believe his cap size also increased. I'm sorry I no longer own either of the caps or I'd post a photo.

Thanks for finding out. I took the advice of someone earlier and e-mailed the Hall of Fame and they said they had one there that was 7 1/8.
