Getting Jerseys Signed

Hi Guys,
I'm getting a game-issued jersey signed in a few weeks and I want to know what to use. Its on a Yankees jersey and I want it signed on the number (black). I'm not trusting a silver Sharpie, but am wondering if a paint-pen works on a jersey or does it bleed. Any experience would be helpful. Thanks so much for your time.

Hi,

It's a VERY good possibility that the silver Sharpie will soak into the number. My favorite paint pens are Deco Color liquid silver fine/medium points. They have about the same size tip as a Sharpie, and personally, I think the paint and application are top notch.
