Some Yankees Game Used bat info / Posada bats.

I went to the Yankees 98 World Serise tribute signing and spoke with a few previous Yankees and what there preference in bats were.

Shane Spencer told me he would use his own bat sometimes but prefered Posadas bats and used his most of the time, he said Posada would get the best wood on the team, he said most of the tema at some point or another would use Posadas bats.

Spoke with El Duke and he told me if had an at bat during an interleague game he prefered to use Posadas bats.

Also met with Homer Bush and he told me although he did use many brands of bats his favorite was always Louisville Slugger.

    Suave,

That would certainly explain the Posada bat you pick up at Steiner which had El Duke's number or name on the knob.

Posada is my favorite player period. When an order of his hits the floor in the factory I'll personally go get the wood for it. I'll spend almost an hour going through the racks looking for the perfect timber.

Somehow that makes me like my Posada gamer even more, knowing that it came from more select wood and the ordering was given some extra special care.

Although it lived a very short life and met an untimely death in Toronto, the bat is still one of my most treasured pieces.
