An email I just received, I know someone on here is a big Darryl Strawberry fan:

of the Year, Darryl Strawberry.

Did they really send that e-mail?????

Darryl Strawberry 4x MVP? Darryl NEVER won an MVP award. If he was a 4x MVP he'd be a 1st ballot Hall of Famer. You'd think they'd do their homework before sending out an e-mail like that.

I can say this as a Strawberry fan he did put up some good numbers.

83 Rookie of the year
4 x WORLD SERIES CHAMP

Till this day still holds the Home Run record for the METS

Yeah I got that email too and when I saw the "4 time MVP" I did a doubletake.

1991 MVP - Terry Pendleton (Strawberry 9th in the voting)
1990 MVP - Barry Bonds (Strawberry 3rd in the voting)
1988 MVP - Kirk Gibson (Strawberry 2nd in the voting)
1987 MVP - Andre Dawson (Strawberry 6th in the voting)

Indeed Strawberry never won an MVP.
Maybe they can get Mitch Williams and have him inscribe "1993 World Series MVP" with this autographs.

Funny, I guess they meant he was in the top 10 in MVP voting four times!

I guess no one can number match I DO BELEIVE THEY WERE REFERRING TOO 4 X WORLD CHAMP / AND THEY MADE A MISTAKE BY SAYING MVP
