Did the 49ers wear the 75th anniversary patch during preseason games in 1994?

A check of the 49er '94 yearbook shows that new players (free agents/draft picks) signed for the '94 season wearing the 75th patch during the pre-season. Most of the photos were taken vs the Chargers and Seahawks. -

Thanks Lon! I am looking at a 49ers regular jersey from 1994 with a team letter, but it doesn't have the patch. I'm just trying to figure out why. I watched the America's Game DVD from 1994 and there is footage of Sanders in a throwback without the patch, so I thought they may not have worn them.

Deion Sanders joined the 49ers on 9/15/94. His first game was against the Rams 9/18/94 in L.A.They wore their throwbacks for the first time in that game. The only game that Deion could have worn a regular jersey would have been at home vs the Eagles 10/2/94 for the rest of the season they wore the throwbacks. The only game that shows him possibly without the patch is vs the Bears in the divisional playoff game. Of an interesting note, the 49ers team photo with Sanders is taken with the team in their "regular" jerseys and he does have the patch on that jersey.Comment
