Mickey Mantle Game Used Yankees Camp Give To Tom Tresh

I am a huge Mickey Mantle fan and was offered what was purported to be a game used cap that was given to Tom Tresh the signature has been authenticated already I have 2 questions.

    1. Does anyone know how I can get in touch with Tom Tresh to verify this

    2. Do you think the hat is an authentic cap worn by Mickey.

I appreciate any help on this

Well if your near the east cost area such as New York or New Jersey, Tom does a lot of autograph signings you might be able to catch him at one of those and ask him yourself.

I am not a hat expert but, did New Era makes hats that far back into the 60's for baseball?

Also Tom and Mickey did a lot of Old Timers Games could it be possible if it was given to Tom, this might be an Old Timers game used hat?

I'm not saying it can't or wouldn't happen, but doesn't it seem a tad odd that Tresh would sign Mantle's cap, even if he did really own it? It's unusual for a player to single sign another player's equipment.
