It's a forged letter made up probably by the seller..

And the fact that there's a retail tag attached to the sleeve....
Wow, that's some brilliant detective work to deduce that it's "not worn, with high probability!"Looking for Duane Kuiper home run baseballsComment

Re: Steve Young Jersey on E-bay with Lou letter...
If you take the time to forge a LOA, why don't you write "game used" on the LOA. Why would you "forge" a LOA that is essentially described as a "mall-worn" jersey. It seems probable that this authenticator wrote a letter for a retail item. Now the question is: did someone pay this so-called authenticator for this opinion?Comment

Re: Steve Young Jersey on E-bay with Lou letter...
I have to give Lou the benefit of the doubt and say he did not write or sign that LOA. That has to be the most inaccurate, poorly written "expert" letter I have ever seen. It makes no sense whatsoever, and even appears to be printed on a blank white sheet of paper.Comment

Re: Steve Young Jersey on E-bay with Lou letter...
I doubt this was a forged letter as someone would not write a forged letter indicating the item was not game used.
Also if you look at the bottom of the letter it is signed.
What I dont understand is how he points out all the wrong things that this Jersey is. Why not just call it a replica Jersey signed instead of going through the motions of saying its not a game used jersey and call it a day.Comment
