I emailed both the bidder and seller (feedback is 2) to make them aware the bat is a store model .
The bat has the "Flame Tempered" and doe NOT have "Genuine" or a model number above Boggs' name. It does have a nice looking "26" on the knob though.....
I cannot view the entire center brand , due to the photo provided.....
Here is the sellers description :
"You are bidding on a bat used by Wade Boggs in 1988. I got it from him during batting practice at a Cleveland Indians game when i was a little kid. I seen him take batting practice with it, but I dont know if it was used in a game though. Shipping is $15.00. Paypal only. Payment must be recieved within 7 days from auctions end. All items will be shipped out on Fridays. All sales are final. Check out my other auctions. Good stuff for cheap. Any questions just ask. Good luck bidding."
