Wondering if UCLA ever wore a deeper blue color during the 1960's?

I had a whole shpeel about the shirt I had not copied and pasted it in here...

I recently acquired a repaired and worn medium blue football jersey with what I believe is mid 1960's spanjian tagging. The tagging is located in a cutter tag on the inside bottom of the shirt. The font is similar to what ucla wore in those days with the stylized numbering, with the very circular 2's etc...

I don't have any recollection though of the bruins ever wearing a darker hue of blue during this era, can anyone shed some light.
