What is on the knob of this bat?

What is on the knob of this bat? Braggs was #15 with the Reds. Then went to Japan where he was #44. Also, the auction says the bat is signed, but photos don't seem to show it? Anybody have any ideas on what is going on here?

Looks like it started with "15" on the knob and someone later converted that to "47" maybe?

"PLAYER used a COLOR sharpie to hand sign a perfect signature on the barrel of this bat."

Since when has "clear" been a color? Yet another dead-on description of EQUIPMENT from this primo MEMORABILIA company.

Always something with this company, and it really has change my outlook on their products. Before I came to this board I thought they were one of the trusted companies, but with all the problems I try to avoid their products now. It just is not worth the questions or problems.
Looking for: Joey Votto game used items.

The only time I would pick up something from them if I knew who there source was of where they got it from.

I would say most if not all there Yankees items are legit such as Sheffield, Ruben Sierra, Melky, Cano, Betitmit, Gary Carter, Darryl Strawberry,
Because they all have the same agent and get it from him.
Which would include also autographed stuff from Yankees/Mets.

Other things they sell with out question you have to do your homework on.

The funny thing is, other than the writing on the knob and the phantom signature, everything else about the bat looks good. Scott Scudder was #47 for the Reds at the time, I think. Maybe he got one of Braggs' bats?
