eagle-eyed mark sutton mentioned this jersey in another thread and i thought it deserved a few photos.

the jays have always used very unique number fonts. being that they weren't standard fonts, they were difficult to replicate and i think that cut down on the number of jays fakes. they weren't fonts that you could easily replicate or have a local shop do up. even many of the souvenir and sports shops around toronto that sold retail jerseys didn't get the fonts right. they best they seemed to be able to do were rough approximations and this looks like one of them. i'm going to take a wild guess and surmise it doesn't have a strip tag on the collar as would be expected from an '03 jays gamer.
shocking that it made it past lampson's rigorous authentication process.
