Most likely because it didnt show his characteristics, there was no tape on the handle and showed very light pine tar.

I emailed the seller a few days ago and he sent me a handle pic. I cant seem to find it now and I've looked at a bunch of Posada bat the last few days so my memory is bad but I thought that the bat had the tape job.

I asked the seller if there was a number on the knob a tape job and how the pinetar was his responce,

No number on knob, no tape, very light pine tar...

I doubt it was a bp bat or even a Posada regular game used bat because it did not have any characteristics of Posada's use and even Posadas bp bats he has the same characteristics and as I posted on another thread Posada has been using Marrucci Bat for Batting Practice with a Taped barrell, As far as I know since 2006, but could have been using them eariler.
