the cards were one of the very few teams to wear Rawlings jerseys in 1996. (maybe the only team?).

can anyone please post images of 1996 cards game-used jerseys showing the rawlings tag?

this is in follow-up to mark hayne's recent inquiry about the style of rawlings tag used in 1996.

Don't forget, Rawlings is based in St. Louis as well. Them and Budweiser are big back there. Both from, as Jeffrey Leonard said, "A one horse town."

Unfortunately, 1996 is a hole in my collection. I'm trying to get Cardinals jerseys from each season during the knit era, but 1996 has eluded me.

I'll do some research and see if I can find a legit example.

1996 seems to be a "rare" year for cardinals jerseys for some reason. The Henderson guide does have a picture of a 96 Cardinals Rawlings tag.
