Where is the rest of it? Just saying " from your best friend Mickey" doesnt mean its Micky Mantle it could be Mickey Rooney or Mickey Rourke or Micky Mouse. The only popular known friend of Mickey Mantle's that was named phil could have been Phil Rizzuto or Phil Linz. Try to find out what Phil this is addressed to!!!!

That is not Mickey Mantle's autograph; early, mid, or late style.

Any specific reasoning you'd like to offering with that statement?

          Eric,

I make that statement based on years of experience in dealing with Mickey Mantle autographs.

I personally own over 100 right now, and have bought and sold hundreds more over the years.

Don't know who that Mickey is, but I personally don't believe it is Mantle.

Sammy is right. It is not Mantle's autograph. If it were being passed as such, it is a poor attempt. It looks like an attempt to do Mantle's later "M" with his earlier version of the rest of the signature. Ouch!!
