Who are your top 5 game used bat authenticators and in what order?
Re: Who are your top 5 game used bat authenticators and in what order?
I think a better question would be:
Who's your favorite authenticator for (insert team name and memorabilia type)?
I'm convinced there's no such thing as one person who happens to know everything about every team and all that team's equipment. Like others have stated, I'll say GUU is by far single resource where you can get your questions answered.

2. Dave Bushing (MEARS)?
Dave Bushing (MEARS) has always done right by me. I think everyone needs to go to who they feel comfortable with if needed. With that said, I probably haven't sent anything to Dave in 3 or 4 years.
I like to use John Taube when I need something graded and is great. He will tell like it is whether you like the answer or not.
With modern players, I like getting my bats straight from the source which generally means I am getting pounded bats. The downside is that they usually have a crack in them, but at least I know they are real.

I won't use any so called bat experts to authenticat any of my bats. All it takes is some time and research to figure out what you have. You don't need to pay someone for something you can do yourself, why waste your money.
