Can anyone offer any thoughts on this jersey? I have several Lynn gamers; Angels, Orioles and Padres, but no Red Sox...please let me know your thoughts...

Just going by the photos and of course not seeing the jersey in person, it does appear to be correct in the size, tagging and construction. It is consistent with what was ordered for Lynn that year.

Lon...thanks for the input....do you know why the memorial arm band would have been removed?

I also found a previous forum post on Red Sox jersey tagging from this era that seems to add validity to the jersey....Chris

I can only take an educated guess as to why the armband was removed. Since most teams re-used the previous years jerseys for spring training it may have been removed for that purpose.
