A few issues with this jersey:
SIZE: Wilson tag in the tail reads 46. Schmidt wore a 44 until 1980, then only wore a 46 for part of 1979 and 1980.
YEAR/SET: Not only is the embroidery incorrect, the tag is the style used from 1977-1986 (although there are a few 1976 dick Allen's with similar tagging that have entered the marketplace). This tag should have the size, 76 SET 1 or 2. In this case, if it was done correctly, it would read 46 76 Set 2 A sample of the tail tagging:
NAME IN COLLAR: The Swiss style embroidery is not even close to what should be found on a Wilson jersey of this era. A sample of the collar tagging from my 1976 Ron Schueler:
NAME ON BACK: The name SCHMIDT appears to made from hand cut letters. Note how the T is not cut correct vertically, and almost appears to bend. Name from my 1976 Schueler.
FRONT NUMBER POSITION: The bottom of the numbers should be even with the bottom of the P. Example of my 1976 Schueler:
