Can anyone find a style-match for this? The letters are sewn way too low. The main difference is the spacing between the lettering and the 2nd button.

Kylehess just playing devils advocate here.

The Getty photos your showing look like to be the same jersey possibly used around the same time. Remember players wear a few jerseys during the season expecially now the Yankees. So the Getty pictures may not be from the same time when he wore this Jersey.

But here is something I find interesting it says it comes with an AROD letter, usually when AROD puts his own LOA on it when he autographs the item he will inscribe " Game Used & Year" on this jersey it is just an autograph. I would be interested in seeing what the AROD LOA looks like/says????

There is no year tag. Except for 2002, the Yankees have always displayed the year in some way or another:
