This is a photo match, right?

Just wanted opinions on whether this is a good photo match. The jersey was used 10/8/06, and that is when the photo is from:

I meant to mention, the photo match is on the spot on the right chest/armpit area.

From what I can tell I wouldnt call it a photo match. Even though you have a jersey with a smudge on the armpit and the pic you posted shows the same, in the pic you posted of the player he is at an angle where it is hard to tell because there are folds in the armpit area to see if the smudge matches up exact.

It looks very close. The black mark looks to line up perfect. The distance from the seam is also pretty close if not a match. I see that there are a few marks on the shoulder. Can you match those?

The mesh holes around REDSKINS don't appear to match up.

I may be able to. The jersey is en route.

Here's another area to the right of the "8" on the front. Looks to be blood?

I'm 99% sure its a match, although it looks to have been lightly washed since the marks were made.

Funny you should say that, because that was my exact thought also, but I was told it had not been washed...??? Oh well. I will post any further findings once I receive the jersey. I appreciate all of the feedback!

Look at the mesh holes in relation to the REDSKINS. There are six lines of mesh holes between the REDSKINS and the number on the game photo, and only five lines of mesh holes on the jersey in question. Does not appear to be a match.

I see what you are saying, but it looks like to me the jersey as it is laying does not show the holes directly beneath the "Redskins". It looks like it is kind of folding upward underneath the "Redskins" lettering, not allowing that row of holes to show there. If you follow the rows out from the "Redskins" lettering, it is six. I guess I will have to check that to be sure when the jersey arrives.

Ok, I got the jersey and wow, it is pretty well hammered. And there are 6 rows of mesh holes between the 8 and the "Redskins" on the front, the top row is just hard to see due to the backing on the "Redskins" patch.

With the new photo you have posted, that looks like a perfect match to me. Nice jersey!
