According to memory, and all published info., Deivi Cruz is/was a right handed batter. Does someone have info that he was a switch hitter?

After further research, not only can I not locate a photo with Deivi using a right flap helmet, a photo of him also using a helmet with a completely cream SD and a white 8 on back can't be located.

Per the available photos, it appears the Padres used helmets in 2002 with a cream S and an orange D (Not cream and cream as it appears on the helmet in question). Likewise, per the attached photo, the back of his helmet has an orange or orange and white 8 (as opposed to the solid white 8 on the ebay helmet) and also has the MLB logo (void on the helmet offered on ebay).

Can anyone post a photo of Deivi or any Padre using a helmet with a totally cream SD logo and white number in 2002?

Any help is appreciated.

Thought I was the only one that would be watching the Deivi Cruz items. I don't remember him being a switch hitter, I could be wrong. Not sure why somebody would lie about Deivi, unless they just do not know what they have.

It’s actually a Terrmel Sledge (http://www.gameuseduniverse.com/players/player.php?p=sledgte01) helmet.

The helmet number on the back is the stylize “8” patterned after the jersey numerals currently used. More than likely a 2006.

I will have to take it off of my watch list! The Cruz items are hard to find.
