Phil Hughes game worn bullpen/cage/dugout Jacket

I just got one with Steiner COA's. It is the long sleeve half zip Yankees bullpen/cage/dugout jacket. What do you think the value would be?

SWARZAKGUY with the way he has been playing and now that he is out on the DL at this very second not a lot, lets see how he does when he gets back on the mound

SWARZAKGUY I agree with SUAVE1477, unfortunately my experience is values tend to be directly tied to performance (especially with young players and/or rookies) when a player is dramatically up or down.

Ultimately the value of the jacket is what somebody would pay you for it. With his struggles, you would likely only have interest from huge Yankees fans and/or people who would see a chance to "buy low" on a Hughes item which would drive down the price from what it would have sold for before the season.

I have seen Yankees jackets go from $150 (no attributed player) to $1500 plus for a Billy Martin or Reggie Jackson jacket (dugout jackets). Steiner has a few cage jackets on sale right now ranging from common players $200 to Posada (asking $1000!!).

Obviously Hughes is still a big-name prospect but my guess would be the value would be around $250 to $500 on the open market with the Steiner paperwork. Steiner would probably have it listed for $1500+ on the site but with Hughes recent performance my sense is it would sell for less at auction. Its a pretty big number for a recent BP jacket but Yankees items tend to trade at a premium. Not a lot of comparable sales out there for this and I could be way off as I dont collect Yankees items but just my 2 cents.

I did not buy it. I traded for it, but I think the original purchaser paid $500 for it. I know steiner has crazy prices so I didn't think that was a accurate price for it.

Well givem the numbers posted here is how I would break it down.

If Hughes comes back off the DL with his continous bad performances I would say the value will definitely be at the $250 to lower value

If he comes back and has an amazing return I would say it would be about $400 to $500
