As previously discussed, GUU has been spending a great deal of resources and effort preparing a new platform to sell items on the site. Consistent with our commitment to create a marketplace of truly legitimate merchandise, the new platform will be designed to make sure items are fully described by sellers and that potential buyers have the opportunity to ask all the questions they need to make sure they understand what they are buying. The platform has also been designed to have a feedback system to help participants know the track record of others using the site.
We have pretty much completed the development work for the platform and are now in the testing phase to make sure everything works properly before we roll it out. We have a team of people testing the system and anticipate it will likely be a few more weeks before we are confident we can roll it out free of any bugs, etc.
We appreciate your patience and will certainly let you know when we are getting ready to take the platform live. We are as excited as you are to provide a selling mechanism on this site that helps identify legitimate merchandise but we will only be rolling it out when it is ready. Please feel free to continue using the forum for its original intent of networking with other collectors and sharing information freely. Again, we will launch the selling platform when we are confident it is ready and everything will be fully explained before it goes live.
