Beware of Biggio Bat (Historic Auctions)

You may have read the thread about Biggio game-use characteristics, but more attention needs to be drawn to the following eBay auction; it is listed here: http://cgi.ebay.com/CRAIG-BIGGIO-GAM...QQcmdZViewItem.

The winning bidder is Historic Auctions, which has been discussed at length on this site. The Biggio "game-used" bat was won for $985, and interestingly, has the same pattern of pine tar application as the George Brett bat in this other auction: http://cgi.ebay.com/GEORGE-BRETT-GAM...QQcmdZViewItem.

I fear that the Biggio bat will end up resold to another collector as a legitimate gamer. Is there anything we collectors can do to stop this? Another worry of mine is that manica71 is going unstopped at producing fraudulent memorabilia. He has told me that he doesn't post on the site, but that he does lurk here. If I were you manica71, and I can bet he is reading this, I would recommend that you be a man and come on here and show us that the Biggio bat is indeed real.

    Thanks!

    Frik,
I think someone should let the winners of his auctions know that he sell nothing but crap. I wouldn't buy one thing from this bum!! All he is doing is ripping people off with his s--t he sells. To everyone please stay away from his auctions before you get hurt in one way or another. Is there anything we can do with this guy??
    Thanks,
    Jamie
