Pujols on ebay

I see a number of different issues with this bat...

but does anyone know what the "M" stamped into the knob is?

Yeah -

I laughed when I first saw it Bert. The tape is wrong, and the tar is just wierd for a Pujols bat.

Never seen the M either...is it something LS used to help identify maple bats? Brian?

Griz already posted about this guys Ryan Zimmerman bat which I had pointed out had the wrong # on the knob which I believe is a Minor League bat.

It isn't uncommon for the Minor Leaguers at Spring Training to head back with a few Major League quality bats to hit with.

The main thing is to do your homework and know the player's characteristics.

On this seller, you can find many auctions where he is selling Minor League bats which tells me (in my opinion) that he has good contacts at the Minor League level.
