The shirt is most likely a retail version of the batting practice jersey ....

The name plate looks like it is taped or glued on ....

Doesn't look sewn on .....

I see the sew line now on yours .

But if you check out this picture here from getty images you'll the nameplate is made of the same material as the jersey and check the sew line its closer to the borders .....
