2003 USA Baseball 18U National Team [Archive]

Hey guys,

I've been looking off and on for a while on information (rosters, box scores, images, etc) for the 2003 USA 18U Junior National (Pan Am) Team. Unfortunately, I have had surprisingly little success.

The lone image I have found that comes close is the last in this gallery.

I am looking for a similar blue mesh jersey, one identifying trait is the baseball shaped patch on the left sleeve with the letters "RWC". I assume this is a commemorative patch to honor Dick Case who passed in Nov 2002 and was the Executive Director of USA Baseball.

I am specifically looking for this year and team with #26. I believe it to be Billy Butler, but have not yet been able to photomatch that to confirm or unconfirm that belief. If I cannot find anything soon, I'll probably be sending an inquiry to Billy to see if he can confirm.

If anyone has any information on the 2003 Junior National Team, an old program or anything like that, I would greatly appreciate your assistance.

try these alumni pages. you dont have the whole roster automatically but it shows what years the players played for the teams. hope this helps good luck

Thanks, I did see that listing of alumni, which helps confirm Billy Butler was on the team... now if only they had jersey #s on there...

The navy blue mesh Team USA gamer seen here was worn by Butler during his ascent to baseball's top level as he plied his trade with the national team. Huh, Yeah, that is it! Looks like the exact same jersey I have... same loose threads and all. Can you please let me know where you found that?
