What is the process of MeiGray tags? I notice some have some ID# and others just a Tag. Has the process of tagging with a MeiGray label evolved? Also do MeiGray have a website?

Hi Joelsabi,

Our tagging is specific to the teams and leagues we work with, and has evolved.

Please tell me which team, or league, or tags, you are asking about, and I'll be happy to explain our process.

And our websites are www.meigray.com (http://www.meigray.com), www.nhlgameworn.com (http://www.nhlgameworn.com), and www.nbagameworn.com (http://www.nbagameworn.com).

Regards, Barry

Hi Joelsabi,

In the years we worked directly with the Texas Rangers, the only MLB team we have worked with, we acquired 25 items of Alex Rordiguez. They are all registered in our MeiGrade System.

In 2001, we acquired two white game-worn jerseys (one with an American flag on the back neck added after 9/11), 1 gray game-worn jersey, 1 blue game-worn jersey and 1 blue game-issued jersey.

In 2002, the first season the Rangers added their own inventory tags inside the jerseys with individual serial numbers, we acquired 2 white game-worn jerseys, 1 gray game-worn jersey and 1 white Turn Back The Clock game-issued Senators jersey.

In 2003, we acquired 3 blue game-worn jerseys, 1 white game-issued jersey, 3 gray game-worn jerseys, 4 white game-worn jerseys, 2 blue batting practice-worn jerseys, 1 game-worn batting helmet, 1 white game-worn pants and 1 gray game-worn pants.

Hope this helps,
Barry

Hi Barry,

This was helpful. Would the game issued and the game used jerseys of his have the same MeiGray tag?

Also, I am assuming you have nothing left of his in your inventory.

Hi Joelsabi,

In 2001, same tag.
In subsequent years, the inventory tag has an individual serial number.

Our only remaining Arod item is the 2002 Turn Back The Clock Senators jersey, which is game-issued.

We are kicking off our Summer Sale on July 12, so if you e-mail me at bmeisel@meigray.com I would be willing to discuss a price on this jersey.

Thanks, Barry
