    Scott,
How is the Tribe's team shop? Do they have any Grady Sizemore items. What are the prices like? I try to get to Cleveland about once a year.

    Thanks,
    Andy

      Andy,
The selection is ok. As far as bats, I asked about Grady. The kid laughed and said, "Oh, we don't get those." The names I remember are Delucci, Garko, Gutierrez, Carroll, Marte and some prostock models. They have a better selection of jerseys. I picked up the Nixon because I think if I chose to sell I would be good since he has a large fan base. The best jerseys are the Larry Dody Day where all the team wore #14. They had Peralta, ($500), Wedge ($500), Byrd ($500), Blake ($350) and a few more. These are a bit steep for me. I think the jerseys were around $175 for like Choo, most of their young pitchers etc. I really can't remember many. Not bad, but again, no Grady!!!

I went about 2 weeks ago and got a peralta, marte, and andy gonzalez bat. Prices were decent I think I paid something like 140-150 total if I remember right for the bats. Likewise they said they never get Grady stuff, but did have hafner and martinez bats earlier that night that I was too late on. I go all the time and it was only the 2nd time I had ever seen any game used material for sale

I'm real interested in a Garko and Carroll (like the way he plays) at those prices. Are the bats broken or just cracked? If anyone was interested in picking one up at the next game they go to we could talk and maybe work something out.

            Andy,

I would be willing to pick up a Carrol or Garko bat for you. If I remember Garko was 100 and Carrol was 40 I think? Some are broken, most are just slightly cracked. I have tickets for tomorrows game that I'm giving to friends, I'll let you know if I'm going or if they can just grab some bats for me

If a Carrol is cracked (not broken) I will take one if it is under say $60.00. Let me know what you think.

              Thanks,
              Andy

                Andy,
I think the Carroll bat was $40. I like how he goes all out playing too. Good luck.

I was at the Tribe team store this morning & the only bats I saw were Garko (3 diff/2 uncracked) M9s block letters $100 each; Peralta cracked $100; Franklin Gutierrez cracked $100; David Dellucci cracked $60; Jerseys were abundant & ranged from $175 to 500..Choo was $175, couple diff. of those, other names included Fultz, Lara, Luna, Mastny, Miller, Skinner, Michaels ($225), Sowers, others..Still had a few of the Larry Doby "14" jerseys..some jerseys are signed, others aren't..had a few signed nameplates such as Fultz, etc. Jay.

Also of note to Tribe fans who are local or others looking for a Paul Byrd auto. He's doing a book signing at the stadium Weds Aug 20 11am to 1pm. Just thought I'd mention this, his book is titled "Free Byrd". I realize not many will be interested, but thought I'd mention it. Jay.
