I just got back from my favorite antique shop. The owner Blair Jett, aside from being a great guy, is also a huge O's collector. He told me this evening that he had just purchased a lifelong O's and Ripken collector's collection that included Ripken bats, cleats, a 1980 Murray jersey, several 1966 and 1968 O's jerseys (including McNally), and tons of oddball Ripken items. He said he had to rent a truck to bring it back from I believe the Philly area.
At any rate, Blair will have a large table and is bringing all of these items to the National. I didn't get a chance to see any of it as he had it all packed up and am a little bummed at missing a shot at some of this stuff but I'd figure I'd at least give you guys a heads up.
